WHAT'S GOING ON
The SBIR Road Tour is coming to Rochester, NY to present non-dilutive technology funding opportunities provided through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
SBIR grants and STTR grants are awarded to for-profit companies where the research you propose is aligned with an agency's needs.
They are NOT loans that your company needs to repay.
They are NOT equity investments. You do NOT have to give up a percentage of your company in exchange for the federal dollars received.
This is a unique opportunity to meet with individual program managers from up to 11 participating federal agencies representing $2.5 billion in early-stage funding who will participate in this one-day event alongside technology entrepreneurs and state innovation ecosystem members.
